GDPE
Sub-Team
| The GDPE team, formerly the Airport Arrivals and Departures (A&D) group in CDM is responsible for identifying, developing and implementing ways to make flight arrivals into airports and departures from airports more efficient. The GDPE effort went into prototype operations in January 1998 with new CDM products and procedures in place. Since that time, over 6 million minutes of delay due to ground delay programs has been avoided. The savings are directly attributed to the CDM-developed GDPE program elements. Some of the projects that the team is working on include but are limited to, FSM improvements/software changes, FSM HITL, data algorithm anomalies, Multi-fix GDP, Multi airport GDP, Distance Based GDP, FCA-based GDP, Slot Credit Substitutions (SCS/ECR). | |
