In an effort to streamline the collaborative activities shared by the FAA and Industry, the CDM Stakeholders Group (CSG) transitioned to the newly formed Executive Committee in January, 2021. The EC is the oversight body of CDM and the NAS Customer Forum (NCF). It establishes the strategic objectives for the CDM community and provides guidelines for FAA and Industry CDM interaction and engagements. Additionally, the EC provides direction, guidance and process to the CDM sub-teams and their individual activities. This objective results in an effective governing body for an FAA – industry communication partnership promoting collaborative solutions throughout the ATFM domain.
The EC Leadership is jointly held by a representative from the FAA’s ATO – Systems Operations Directorate and Industry leadership. Representation from the Airlines for America (A4A), National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), Regional Airline Association (RAA), and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) participates in EC activities also. In addition, some individual airline representatives and select FAA Lines of Business participate on the EC. FAA participation is determined by the Director of System Operations and the Program Management Organization Director of Air Traffic Systems.
